We can say whatever we want, but what does everyone else think?
Here's what The Press have to say...
MoreWeight Records
Home to this month's band of choice, Moreweight has been producing exciting north-western indie records for a few years now, and its ever-improving roster is chock-full of surprising delights like Former Bullies and Welcome To Okie. If further evidence is required, pick up a copy of their fantastic label sampler, where silly band names and long song titles abound with as much frequency as high quality tuneage. That's pretty darn high, by the way. www.moreweightrecords.com"Will Fitzpatrick

Married to the Sea
"Classic songs. Ever feel like you don't hear enough of them? This hook-driven quartet could just be the band you're looking for. Taking influence from The Weakerthans, Ted Leo and Death Cab to name but three, there's a healthy pop sensibility to MTTS' intelligent brand of indie-pop, and tunes like "Great! Now I'm In Love" have a tendency to burrow into your skull and make themselves at home. Investigate immediately. www.myspace.com/marriedtothesealion"Will Fitzpatrick

"Married to the Sea come from Liverpool, which, being a major port, may be the source of this wilfully obtuse name. Or they could be named after an internet comic (Google it). Who knows. What’s important is that the band are consummate practitioners of the angular, churning but free flowing US college rock that splattered the late 90’s. Despite their sometimes intricate arrangements, the songs always retain a thrilling propulsion and the band aren’t afraid to slow things down or vary up the dynamics. They know they are good, too."SANDMAN MAGAZINE
